Netcad and Astanagenplan Sign Agreement on Technological Cooperation

Netcad and Kazakhstan’s Astanagenplan Research and Design Institute signed a cooperation agreement to advance technological collaboration and explore joint initiatives.

The agreement was signed during the Astanagenplan delegation’s visit to Netcad’s Istanbul office on October 1–2, 2026. The delegation included the institute’s Managing Director and the heads of its transport and urban road network, detailed plan revision, and geographic information systems units.

During the visit, Netcad technologies were presented, and their potential use in the daily work of Astanagenplan specialists was discussed. Representatives of the institute shared their needs and the challenges they face in practice in urban planning, transport infrastructure, and spatial data management with the Netcad team.

Demonstrations of Netcad software provided an opportunity to assess solutions addressing these needs. The demonstrations highlighted spatial analysis and three-dimensional modeling capabilities, as well as the support digital twins provide for planning decisions. Discussions also focused specifically on how the technologies presented align with the workflows and needs of the relevant units.

During the discussions, Netcad expressed its readiness to share its technological expertise and explore opportunities to support Astanagenplan in achieving its digital transformation goals.
