A delegation from Saginov Karaganda Technical University (Kazakhstan) paid an official visit to Netcad’s headquarters in Istanbul on June 22, 2026. The visit was organized with the aim of further strengthening the successful academic and scientific cooperation that has been maintained between the two institutions since 2023.
During the visit, faculty members from the university’s Department of Geology and Mineral Exploration shared their scientific research projects with Netcad experts, focusing on geochemical analyses conducted across Kazakhstan and the spatial distribution of rare and critical elements. The meeting was attended by Associate Professor Dr. Altınay Amangeldikyzy, Project Coordinator; Associate Professor Dr. Nazım Srajadinkızı Askarova, Project Manager; and Associate Professor Dr. Ayman Nygmetovna Kopobayeva, Project Researcher.
The discussions focused on the strategic contributions of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to the analysis, modeling, and visualization of large-scale spatial and geological data. Netcad experts introduced their latest technological solutions for geological research, spatial analysis, thematic mapping, and data management to the visiting delegation.

Education and Technology Support Discussed
In order to deepen the existing cooperation, the parties evaluated the more effective use of Netcad software in the university’s research projects and educational activities. In this context, they exchanged views on providing the university with Netcad software licenses, educational materials, and technical training support.
As part of its long-standing collaborations with universities and research institutions, Netcad continues to contribute to the wider adoption of advanced Geographic Information System technologies in education and research. The strong partnership with Saginov Karaganda Technical University is of great importance in supporting scientific studies in the fields of geology, mining, and spatial data analysis through digital technologies.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both parties reaffirmed their commitment to developing joint research projects, increasing the exchange of knowledge and experience, and expanding the use of Netcad technologies in academic studies.
